Sedgwick County Inmate Search & Jail Records

One of the responsibilities of the Sheriff's Office Detention Bureau in Sedgwick is managing the county's Adult Detention Facility and Jail Annex. Individuals who have been arrested and remain in custody for the duration of their sentence (i.e., inmates) are housed in these facilities.

To ensure public safety and transparency, inmate records are open to the public, who may search them. The process of retrieving these records is known as an inmate search. Sedgwick inmate or jail records are created at the onset of a criminal case rather than at its conclusion.

To find information about individuals held in custody, inquirers may contact the Sheriff's Office. Requesters may visit the office in person or submit an inquiry via mail. Alternatively, they may search the inmate database available on the Sheriff's Office website.
